"Once we relax enough, we see that there is nothing but a basic state of pure presence without anything going on in it. That pure presence is entirely aware. It is inseparable from all of its own appearances. Whereas we thought all appearances were separated out from each other, now we don’t even think about that. It is just instinctively clear that there is nothing that has ever been separate—that everything is seamless and without division or split anywhere, and we are amazed that this came upon on us without even thinking about it."

Every short moment shows us directly that the here and now is spontaneously self-releasing. We cannot hold on to any perception or make it in to any 'thing' in its own right. When we are all tied up in our descriptions we simply don't notice that this is the case. When we relax we see that every single perception rests in itself, as the pure, clear and relaxed basic state. Nothing need be done to achieve contentedness and completeness. It is our natural state. Every short moment shows us this, and we learn to relax more and more with everything exactly as it is.

It is incredible to see how this plays out in my relationships. Relating to everyone becomes filled with ease, openness and love. Nothing to avoid and nothing hidden. No need to appear in any particular way to anyone, or expect anyone else to be in any way whatsoever. Complete gratitude for everyone's unique contribution to the whole.

I am so grateful to see this increasingly play out in my life in every single relationship.
