"All of the buzz words we have like “self-respect,” “self-esteem” and “self-love” are found in that first short moment of awareness. We find everything we have been looking for: esteem, respect, love—it’s all there. All the nurturing we’ve been looking for everywhere in anything we have explored, we find there, and then we know we don’t have anywhere else to look. This is very important. Don’t confuse yourself and don’t confuse other people with strategies that are going to end up in pain."

There is nowhere else to go. Keeping it simple and relying on awareness in each here-and-now, it is now so obvious to me where my stability and ease lie. Love, ease and contentedness are not in holding in place the multitude of perceptions, emotions, thoughts, relationships and circumstances..or in ridding ourselves of the 'bad stuff' - it cannot be done! Instead of relying on the perceptions, I have chosen to rely on wide-open awareness, moment by moment. Now life shines with brilliant love, ease in all situations and an unstoppable flow of energy to be of benefit to all. Nowhere to go. Here and now is all there is and it is our choice in each moment - to rest or not to rest!
